Why ESG is Operational at Technosmart
At Technosmart, ESG is not a branding layer — it is how we operate.
From our earliest projects in public transport and national infrastructure to today’s AI-integrated safety systems, we have grounded every decision in a consistent set of values: safety, responsibility, cost-efficiency, and wellbeing. These are not abstract aims. They are operational principles, reflected in how we work and how we improve.

CEO Pekka Salonsaari has emphasized that ESG is not optional — even for a mid-sized company. It is foundational. In his words:
“Safety and quality work might look like a cost at first, but they reduce friction, prevent failures, and build trust. In that sense, they are deeply efficient.”
We formalized our ESG actions early:
-
We built an internal quality program, with defined indicators.
-
We engaged external specialists from Mastos Oy to support long-term compliance and process sustainability.
-
We appointed a dedicated quality manager and integrated a quality lens into every project from the outset.
-
We maintain a corporate security clearance and apply rigorous personnel screening across all levels, extending to subcontractors.

What drives these efforts is not compliance, but continuity. ESG is how we ensure that every system we deliver, whether in a depot, data center, or defense context, meets the expectations of those who depend on it.
We view quality and responsibility not as finish lines, but as active disciplines. ESG at Technosmart is not symbolic. It is structural.
